New Idea Book is live tomorrow!

I know you must be just as excited as I am about the new Summer Idea Book. The five new paper packs are fabulous, in fact I love them all! There are lots of new stamp sets, too; so many cute ones it's impossible to list them all here.
So because I know you're just dying to see the new product, I'm going to post some photos of artwork made with the new paper packs. Look closely, you'll see lots of new product as well. Drum roll, please...

Now that I've whetted your appetite for all things new, make sure you contact me to get your new Summer Idea Book. Beginning tomorrow, you will be able to check it out on my website.

I am now going off-line to work on your next challenge. It'll be a fun one, so stay tuned.

I'm finally scrapbooking my son!

Nathaniel is 18 months old and I'm finally starting to work on his baby book. The first page will be the title page. It uses a retired paper pack called Lazy Days of Summer. The next layout is, obviously, about my pregnancy. It looks a little girly for a boy's album, but I thought I'd run with it anyway. I love the paper and I think it matches my photos well. The paper is from our Key to My Heart promotion a while ago. Just click to see a larger photo.
And a couple close-ups. The letters are Dimensional Elements. I sponged Creme Brulee ink on them, edged them with Cocoa and then stamped on top.
I know these two photos are backwards; I can't seem to get them switched. I'm still learning what layout is best. My apologies.

I've had some challenge participants!

I am very happy to have some of my fellow consultants participate in this month's challenge. So if you're looking for some inspiration on completing the challenge, just check out these great cards!

If you participate, post it on your blog, let me know and I'll link it here. Your cards are beautiful, ladies!

Happy Easter!

I know it's not Easter yet, but I'm sending my wishes anyway. This weekend is always busy for us. Our church has a Good Friday service tomorrow during which I will be presenting a monologue. The character I get to play is Pilate's wife. She is telling him about her dream. It's a fascinating piece and emotionally demanding. Just as I like it! It's been a busy couple weeks preparing. Saturday Chris, my hubby, and I will be looking for a new van...still. Sunday we'll celebrate this special weekend with my family. It amazes me each and every year how wonderful our God is!

The other reason for this post is because I just have to share some photos I took last week before the snow hit. The signs of spring are showing everywhere around here. Our tulips are growing, tender crocuses are blooming, and a beautiful purple flower appeared in the garden beside our house. If you know what it is, please tell me! I've learned so much about photography since I started scrapbooking and I hope these photos show that.

This one is our daffodils just peeking out of the soil.

Our sweet crocuses now flattened by the late snow.

And the mystery flower. Can you help me identify it?

April's Challenge is to go simple.

Hello everyone! It's time for April's challenge.
This month I'd like you to go simple. You may only use one piece of patterned paper and one piece of cardstock on your card or layout base. Any other things you add must be stamped or embellishments.
Here's an example I copied from Vicki Wizniuk:

All products CTMH unless otherwise noted: Chocolate cardstock, More To Adore Level 2, Thoughtful Seasons (sentiments), Playful Flourishes, Cupcake Sprinkles, Other: sparkles.

Happy Creating!
