I'm excited to see what the others have made, especially since there are so many fun 3D images on this cartridge. I had a really hard time nailing down what I was going to do. I kept changing my mind. Just ask my hubby how often it came up in conversation! If you came from Suzette's blog, you're on the right track. If you're starting here, at my blog, just keep hopping and you'll head around the entire circle. If you'd like to literally hop across Canada, start at Darla's blog.
Now on to the fun stuff! (I have to apologize for the quality of my photos. I just didn't have time to take proper photos with my camera before it got dark so these are snapped quickly with my phone.) I am working on a wreath for our front door. Although it's not finished, I think you'll get the idea and I promise to post proper photos of the finished product.
Can you picture it about twice as big and a whole lot more of those fabulous medallions? There are some really fun ones on the Artiste cartridge and they're so easy to make, especially since the score marks guide your folds. Here's a couple close ups:
I'm using a bunch of different products. The paper will all be from Pear and Partridge. I've added some Cocoa cardstock to the tops, as well as wooden, red and green buttons, with Natural Hemp and some retired designer brads as well as bling from the Boutique Assortment. I've also added some Bronze and Red Glitz Glitter Gel. I use lots of Liquid Glass to keep everything together. I plan to use lots of embellishments on the tops of these cuties. I can't wait to get it finished and dress it up with a great big bow. So, stay tuned for the finished wreath.
Now, it's time to hop on over to Carrie's blog and check out what fabulous 3D artwork she's created for you. Watch for the next Cross Canada Hop in January; it's Consultant's Choice!
Happy Creating!
