CTMH August Stamp-of-the-Month Blog Hop: Chocolate!

I'm back for another Stamp-of-the-Month Blog Hop!  It seems like it's been a while since I participated.  But with this month's stamp set, I couldn't refuse.  If you came from Lalia's blog, you're on the right track.  If you're starting here at my blog, just keep hopping until you get back here.

This month's stamp set is so sweet, literally.  It's all about chocolate!  What girl would not love this set?  Here's what it looks like:

And, if you were here tonight, at my New Catalogue Kick-Off, you created this card:

I used the new Laughing Lola paper packet and cut four strips from the big flower pattern.  Those were attached to the back of an overlay cut from White Daisy cardstock.  The overlay was cut at 2 3/4", with Real Dial Size on.  It's Shift, Overlay, Football key.  I backed the entire overlay with a piece of Lagoon.
The image piece is cut from the same key, just the Photo Mat 1 function, at 2 1/4" and in Lagoon at 2 1/2".  Here's a close up of the image piece:

I added a piece of Black Shimmer Trim at the top; can you see the sparkle?  The sentiment is two stamps, loaded on the same block, and stamped in Black.  Then I added some 2nd and 3rd generation stamping in Lagoon and Black with the new Hostess stamp set, Washi Wonder.  I LOVE washi tape so this set made me very excited.  :)

Now, hop on over to Teresa's blog and check out what she's created for you.  Don't forget to contact your consultant to get your hands on this stamp set.  You can even get it for FREE this month!

Happy Creating!

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #14: Hello World

Hello and welcome to another Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.  We're already on number 14!  I'm using brand new products so I won't be able to do my nice linky list at the bottom.  Here is the sketch:

It's one with lots of potential and I'm looking forward to what you all create with it!  I went with a card again, although I wanted to try a layout.  I just ran out of time.  Here's my card:

Isn't that owl adorable?  I love it, and I also love that it didn't match up exactly. I like that "big eye" look.  I think I may have done something wrong when I cut it.  Maybe I'll figure it out for another time.  The paper I used is from Babycakes, a new paper pack, available for purchase on Thursday!  I added in some Kraft paper and Chocolate ink.  The strip is from the zip strip at the top of the sheets.  Both the owl and the sentiment were cut with the new Artbooking cartridge.  I added some Almond Glitz Gel on top of it.  The stars are from the Babycakes Workshop on the Go kit.  This card is perfect for popping in the mail to a new mom and dad.

Here's a close up of the owl and wording.

Now, get creating and make sure you link up your creation to Atlantic Hearts to be considered for Top 3!

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #13: A True Thank You

Welcome to another week at Atlantic Hearts!  We've got another great sketch for you this week.  Here it is:

And here is my card:

I used the new Artbooking Cricut cartridge to cut the speech bubble from Dream Pop, at 4 1/2".  It's on the BFF key.  For the sentiment I punched a scallop circle using our punch, stamped it in Black Memento ink and coloured it with both markers in the Gypsy carker set.  Before attaching it with Foam Tape, I added some Black Shimmer Trim. Those sparkles are left over from the Avonlea Card Workshop on the Go.

Here's a close up of the sentiment:

Your turn now.  Create something using the sketch and link it up at Atlantic Hearts.  I'd love to see what you've made, so make sure to comment here and let me know!

Happy Creating!

Atlantic Hearts Sketch #12: Viva Flower card

Hello and welcome to another Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge!  This week we have a beautiful sketch to work with!  Here it is:

I had been working on the layouts the corporate office prepared for us for convention and still had our exclusive paper pack and stamp set on my desk, so I decided to use them for my card.  I was very happy that we still had some paper left over because it's so fun!  Here's my card:

I used Sunset cardstock to mat both the Juniper paper and the main image.  The flower is inked in Sunset and rolled in Cranberry before stamping.  That's one of my favourite stamping techniques!  The leaf is stamped in Juniper.  I added a strip of our new Bronze Shimmer Trim instead of ribbon and a smattering of Brown and Tan Sparkles.  Here's a close up of the flower:

You can see that I popped the flower.  The silver flower in the middle is from our new Base and Bling Floral Accents.

Now it's your turn.  Create a project with the sketch.  Remember, it can be any type of craft, doesn't have to be a card.  Link it up at Atlantic Hearts and you could be chosen as top three!

Happy Creating!

Cross Canada Blog Hop: Going, Going, Gone (Almost!)

Welcome to another Cross Canada Blog Hop!  This month we are featuring items that will be retiring at the end of July.  You will see lots of different items showcased by our participants, from stamps and papers to My Creations items and embellishments.  They are all considered "while supplies last" so if you see something you just have to have, get in touch with your CTMH consultant ASAP.

If you've just hopped onto my blog, you can start here since this is a circular hop, but if you want to follow us across Canada, then please start at the beginning at Michelle's blog.
If you came from Arlene's blog, then you're on the right track.  Just keep hopping until you get back to where you started.

Here is my project:

I used the Scholastic Paper Packet and Noted Canvas Shapes, both retiring.  I also used the brand new Artbooking Cricut Collection.  It came this week and I hadn't had time to play with it yet.  LOVE it!  For this layout I used the 'z' and 'v' keys.  These school-themed keys and paper were perfect for Nathaniel's class pictures from preschool.  Here are close ups of each page:

I love the way the Canvas takes ink, so I stamped an image from the Scholastic Workshop on the Go (sorry, it's been retired for a while), and sponged them with Desert Sand ink.

Here's a close up of that fabulous Cricut title.

Scroll down to the bottom to see my supplies list.

Your next stop on the hop is Sheri at Just Scrap It.  If you get lost along the way, head on over to Michelle's blog.  She has a complete list of all the blogs.

Thanks for hopping along.  Join us on August 15 when we focus on Kraft products.  Happy Creating!

Here are the supplies I used.
