Welcome to another week of the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge! Here is the sketch for this week:
As soon as I saw this sketch, I knew I wanted to try a starburst. I've seen so many of them in artwork lately, but wasn't sure how to make one. So, I turned to Susan Williams. She's new to blogging, but already has some great tutorials and is an amazing artist. You've got to check her out! Here's a link to her tutorial.

I used Dream Pop, because you can still get it for a few more days, and well, I just love it!! Here is my supply list. The sentiment is from the Celebrations stamp set from the Art Philosophy Collection.

whoa hello! that is amazing. how did you get such a perfect circle?
ReplyDeleteI cut a piece of cardstock the size I wanted and used a lid to draw a pencil line to make the curve, stuck the paper on and trimmed it. Then attached it to the white daisy cardstock on the card. So, I guess that's a bit of a cheat. ;)
